The Coachman’s House

In the park of the castle of Saint Ustre, discover this magnificent charming cottage from the 14th century and its defense tower that controlled the entrance to the estate. The cottage is located in a small hamlet, an excellent starting point for visiting Châtellerault, Poitiers, Futuroscope, Beauval Zoo or the many castles in the region.

Nestled away from the rest of the campsite, in a quiet location, with its two private terraces, the Coachman’s cottage (80m²), offers two charming bedrooms that can accommodate four people. This vacation rental is ideal for a stay of four to six people. It has an additional bed with the sofa bed that can accommodate two people.
The cottage also consists of a modern shower room, a toilet adjoining the bedrooms, and a fitted kitchen open to the living room in a rustic atmosphere where a stone fireplace sits. This cottage retains all the charm of yesteryear with its stone walls, exposed beams or terracotta floor, without sacrificing modern comfort. (Be careful, however, for people who have difficulty climbing stairs, the one in the cottage is spiral and also dates from the 14th century!)
